Complementary medicine provides another dimension into what
we think of as conventional medicine. While modern western
medicine tends to focus on treating specific illnesses and
their symptoms complementary medicine takes a broader view
and considers factors such as a patient's diet, temperament,
working environment and sleeping habits when prescribing
treatment. As part of his further development, Adam Tilstone
trained as an Equine Osteopath having completed a postgraduate
course in 1993.
In
early 1999 WeaverHouse was awarded the Investor in People
standard and during 2006 was recognised as continuing to
meet the requirements of the national Standard for effective
Investment in People.
